RE: Help update i-level BMW Motorrad Bike - K24 Series ?
Do not forget that ISTA-P handles only the old series! (witch is in this table)
But for the newer models handles only in ISTA+ (like the car) Which is strange to me, however, to show me another (newer) I-Stufe after programming. (13-10-2018, 12:43 PM)Nerox Wrote: In my case . Ista doesn't want my bike to be up to date - which apparently means K024-11-16-50. Instead it's stuck on I-level iK024-18-03-500...why? Important! I often do not see that I do not have a new program, but if I select the ECUs one by one, it looks like the new ZUSB!!! |

What I-Levels are shown in Vehicle details in ISTA? Is your factory I level same as current I level?
In any case I level upgrade on your bike can be done with ISTA-P and not ISTA+ Read the notes in ISTA. All motorcycles with BN2000 electrical system (with BMSKP DME and former) can be handled with ISTA-P. All motorcycles with BN2020 electrical system ( with BMSX, BMSMP DME) can be handled with ISTA+ |

Thanks for the reply, guys I'm using ISTA-P - Since K71 Is a BMSKP - and that's what the programming note is advising to use. Plus i just cand do programming from iSTA+ so, It's another proof Here are the picture of the "problem" What i don't explain is why my I level does not exist.. as Haakon Stated I've been advised to change the i level with tool32 - But i haven't find out the "How to" - any tips? Would checking the case " Replacing unit" in ISTA/P could do? I've got ista D and P working perfectly but NCS Expert /tool32/ aren't working . Followed a couple of tutorial and still feel lost because i don't see what i did wrong - I even did reinstall . |

RE: Help update i-level BMW Motorrad Bike - K24 Series ?
Nerox,
It will not program as the actual iLevel is later than that in ISTA-P The question is whether the bike has been into a dealership recently ? The problem child, Motorrad, does not seem to have updated the corporate ISTA recently so there would be the possibility of the on line Motorrad Dealers having more recent iLevels in the data they are accessing |

RE: Help update i-level BMW Motorrad Bike - K24 Series ?
@HaakonA
I've understood the basic principle of an update ;D .. So i do understand why ista-p Isn't updating. Thanks for your reply; Since i'm the second owner i just have a few checklists/maintenance schedules from the last owner But i got no info about the i Levels. So you're saying that the ISTA-P versions available around here doesn't have the lastest databases compared to the Online dealers? That's odd. Last service date : 9 may 2018 So it's not uterly recent, but not old either. Thanks anyway ! |
