Okey! I have tried with the compatibility mode as admin but its the same.
Do you know if kess v2 or any other software has the ability to read/write full flash on ms42?

Kess probably not.
Most other programs crash when trying to write to the boot sector.

Send me a PM with your email or some kind of communication, teamviewer, etc.
I have an alternative method to help for immediate purposes.

RE: Read/Write 512kb on Ms42
Thanks everyone for helping! biggrin  Today I received my new cable and now it finally connected! (VAG-COM KKL 409.1)
However, it only connect using this method:

1. Connect everything - OBD, ECU and boot pin, but only to (-) Battery.
2. Plugin OBD usb to computer
3. Open Jmgarage
4. Connect cable to (+) on battery and hit connect immediately!

I got Jmgarage to write a virginized file successfully but INPA cant synchronize with EWS, I only get "NO RESPONSE FROM CONTROL UNIT" then I get error code 209 "Manipulation protection EWS". Do you guys have any advice on how to get them synchronized?

I have tried that with no success. Is INPA capable of doing a synchronize with a virginized ECU, or am I forced to use antoher software like GT1?

RE: Read/Write 512kb on Ms42
If you have it, use ISTA.

Did you do the virginize correctly?

I have done so many of these... I will look for the tool32 command sequence, but INPA should have worked.

In INPA you should be using the F1 button (first button), to transfer the start value from EWS to DME.

I dont have ISTA, but at the moment I am trying to install dis.v44.

I believe so, the file has been used by many and the writing went okay. I checked the ISN and it was cleared with FF. Is there something else I should check?

I get error from pressing F1 and F2.
