Error 2221-1 for XDOS 09.2018. Found the cause but can not fix it
Hello friends.
I installed XDOS 09.2018 by applying solutions from the pesona theme (thank for this work). Everything works 100%, but if you set MUI Russian language for Windows 7 SP1 86x, then when you start Xentry, an error 2221-1 appears. I deleted MUI Russian language, but the error remained. I think I need to fix something in the Windows registry, but I don’t know what exactly. Can you help me solve this problem? Why this error does not appear on Windows English version and appears on the Russian version? |

This has something to do with windows I suspect.
Try reinstalling windows in English version or something and reinstalling again. |

The problem arises precisely with Windows and other languages. I want to understand what exactly causes error 2221-1. |

I analyzed and understood that there is no one solution to this problem. I searched the Internet for many days and found nothing. This is a system error and can be caused by various problems, there is no one solution. If you have any ideas, please speak.

This is unthinkable. I made a new clean install of Windows ENG + Update and XDOS. I still get error 2221-1. I do not understand anything. Why did everything work before and now not? I do everything as before.
This error may occur due to new addons? |

RE: Error 2221-1 for XDOS 09.2018. Found the cause but can not fix it
I just stepped into the same 2221-1 Error.
This on clean new Windows Installation and a clean installation of Xentry XDOS 09-2018.
Then, this morning, Xentry stopped with the said error message. The only change I made last night was to rename the computer in the systems-settings because somehow I thought it was a good idea (see screenshot). Right after this, it produced this error. Just renaming the computer back to its initial name (the one it had during installation) made in functional again. This may not be the only cause for the 2221-1 error but may be you did something similar... |

I also had this problem 2221-1 error with xentry Passthru 2018.12 on windows 7 x86 right after clean install(Windows and Xentry). and I resolve-it by renaming the pc from right click."MY Computer/Properties/Advanced Settings/rename This PC" restart windows and al will be ok.the name should look like "XXXXXX-PC" where xxx is the name you want.i hope this will help some people
