if i want to read the car always get the error message "The communication with the control unit HU-B has been disrupted. The Crontol Unit must be connected. The ignition must be switched on"

I have a K+DCAN cable (usb to OBD"), BMW F30 2014 and windows 10. And the cable is on COM3 and i have change this on the obd.ini file. I have install only istaD without SDP.

K-DCAN cable doesn't work with F series.

With this version, i can etablish connexion with E-Series, G-Series, but not E-Series ...
I use ICOM with the latest firmware

what do you mean with cheap cable? which cable should I buy?
I have these two cables in the pictures. The first one works with inpa and "works" with ista-d (at least he shows me the vehicle data) but a full scan didn't work, every time the same fault message (tested with 2 versions of Ista-D. The second one works with inpa but not with ista-d, i have all drivers installed. 

ps. If F models do not work with these cables, do E models work with them?

K-DCAN cable doesn't work with F series.

I still have an Enet cable that I use for esys for my F30, so it should work?

the result is, that this version of ISTA seems not to be compatible with windows 8

Hi. To confirm this version is not compatible with windows 8.
Which is preferred operating system.
