Hi,

I am new to this forum, i am not able to find instructions how to update Mini Countryman (F60) navigator.
I have the Europe Route 2018-1, do i need to copy that to a usb and then connect that in the car?

Anyone can help me with the right steps i need to do, or point me to a link here in the forum?

What else do i need to be able to update it, will it ask me for a code and if so is there someone here that can help me with this?

You will need FSC to activate the new map and the new map on USB. There are tools to create the FSC yourself, or you can buy it online. Do you have a laptop for diagnotics and a cable?

For Route maps no free FSC generator.. But you might be lucky most of these cars have 3 years free updates. Post VIN so someone can check it for you.

Do you need full VIN or last 7 digits?
VIN: 3B60112

If i would try to start upgrade and it ask for FSC and it doesn't work, does the old map then still work?
Any special USB stick format needed or folder structure, or just copying the map to usb stick

EDIT: i used the Route 2018-1 put in the usb stick, the upgrade started didn't ask for any code and i have 2018-1 version now
