RE: I need the Kess Unlock procedure for Simos PCR 2.1
So I have soldered the resistors on and connected all the wires and when I try and read the eeprom all I get is this.
Been at it 3 hours now and getting stressed I have tried everything. I have even tried just connecting the x3 12v+ and - to a Direct 12v power source. |

read by OBD and modify and just write by OBD!! sometimes it says locked but you can write it by OBD. |

This is purely just so i know i can do it. The car has already been scrapped so i just want to get as much practice on scrap ones as i can.
I have a second identical one to try but wanted to make sure i hadn't done anything wrong with this one. My only thoughts are, Has someone sent me the wrong resisters or do they have to go a certain way round. |

RE: I need the Kess Unlock procedure for Simos PCR 2.1
hello ... if the block is locked and you start to program it, you can get a faulty ecu ... I had a case ... I always use PCR 2.1 to download the eprom like Upa usb I unblock the ecu ... I collect everything back and then already I will program ...

RE: I need the Kess Unlock procedure for Simos PCR 2.1
I have adapter for PCR2.1 unlock. But not samme pins position like soldering operations...
If I put directly like pins configuration from adapter, kill ecu or work? Or maybe soldering resistors and done...? |

Why so many questions ? Just follow kess instructions, unlock and R/W via OBD. So easy. If you have problems, don’t put hands onto your car, even not on ECU… |
