HI I have a 2004 ford explorer  wired digiprog st48 to 6 pin pad but no initial connect like when you dont get pad right or the reset or power doesnt get from pad to board.   I figure one of the pad pins needs to be bypassed.  Anyone know or have a diagram for this board in picture i know its doable i just dont know how to track down which pad is not getting to board. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check wiring inside 25way plug and maybe you need to wire other side of board also attached is picture how tachometer pro connects might help

I see you using Digiprog., ST48 or ST51?

Sometimes on these Fords if you use ST51 the 12V will wake the processor and it will not read. In that case try ST48.

Your pic is not clear enough to see the board to see if you have properly located the GND pin.  They are always BKGD opposite GND and RESET and +V beside GND.

Some of them the RESET is not connected to the BDM pins and you have to connect at the processor.

Thank you for the responses. I think vdd not connected. I found some pinout pictures for the board. I'm using st48. I only use digi for 9s12. Use it all the time. Plug is good

Solved . Above points worked well bricked first panel FYI dont use explorer 03 in digi to write it reads right but writes wrong and you lose odo display. Got new one and wrote by hand and all is well . I was able to copy new mcu to old panel mcu and repair as well thank you for the quick responses
