Issue with ford focus II TDCI WITH flashing immo light. car was in some kind of water and owner dried the ecu and fuse box, initially after drying it was cranking without starting and later there was no cranking and immo light was flashing. tried to scan the car for fault and could not read the fault codes from any module even though I can talk to the module. checked live data and the I got this two issues;
i)   pcm status check        NO 
ii)  missing message with the CAN  YES

is ecu really gone, any suggestion?

Think you should take ecu out and try to read bdm(its edc16), than search for damage made by water or moisture. Also, was that only some kind of water damage or is there any sign of crash? Focus ecu is placed in at least strange position and small crash can make a lot of damage.

Thanks for your suggestion. There seems to be no crash actually just one stupid driver got the car stucked in water according to owner and there was no visible water damage and the bcm fuse box has more water than the pcm. I do not have a bdm programmer

In case you need to replace ECU you will need data from original one. And bdm 100 programmer for example is very cheap and very good for that.
