because I cant do shortest with DAS, it doesnt communicate with ECU , it doest not list faults

Device test is OK

But when I use xentry, it opens das automatically and then, when I launch quick test to vehicles, das doesn't recognise ECUs ...

Is it a configuration problem with cal.ini in DAS/ BIN ?
Is mine correct?

Someone who have diagnostic test succeed could share his bin folder?

The device driver was installed correctly. Xentry opens DAS automatically if your vehicle is old model. Check if your model support passthru protocols, or check if the software you installed is passthru, not xdos.

It should just work with W205 if you followed the device installation procedure and installed xentry passthru. Did you install it on Windows 10 x64? If it's installed on Windows 10 x32, it does not recognize W205.

But DAS doesn't read ECUs when performing short test.

And when I try to access directly to a ECU I have error in DAS: Error (1.2)-2.518

So that's why I want to compare my cal.ini file with a working cal.ini.

I tried an 2001 slk 230 and the engine ecu was the only module read.
From what i understand only CAN cars can be read by vas5054, but this slk 230 was a KLINE.

SAE J2534 passthru for ECU/Transmission was mandated from model year 2004 (June 2003) by the US EPA. Since there was one year extension period, it should have been implemented no later than June 2004.

Other chassis and body controllers depend on each manufacturers' schedule.

- RED dot : PC <-> VAS5054A does not communicate. Something wrong on your driver.
- YELLOW dot : PC <-> VAS5054A communicates.
- GREEN dot : PC <-> VAS5054A <-> Vehicle communicates.

If you have yellow light ( https://nsa40.casimages.com/img/2019/04/...413336.jpg ), that means drivers are ok , but you need a vehicle after year 2004 to have green light

Tx, I managed to get it working. There was a documentation error and some of the files were not where they were supposed to be. Once I moved them into the right place and re-started all was well
