The new version is 18.9.1, does the loader work with it? Or should I stick to 18.9.0?

Original VCDs would pay overtime. Had 3 chinese VCDs clones spending say 75 dollars which I binned because I could not upgrade. Now have 3 vin VCDs hex v2, came with a nice case, which I am very happy with it especially that my antivirus does not find a trojan. Connects to the internet for additional experimental codings. Has all coding descriptions unlike the buggy clone (does not always work, can be unregistered when online, etc). Original can upgrade firmware while connected to my laptop only. Just bare this in mind before purchasing clones.

Well, it worked. I just need a VW or Audi to see how far it can go. I would never do coding, I just need it for key or fob programming. If i have the PIN of course.

newer VW Audi have to be programmed online through a secured database using odis-s online thus a registered odis account is required. not possible to program key or fob by yourself since 2008 or near that year with VCDs. Only for older vehicles.

There's a few tools that do IMMO 4th & 5th through USB. Biggest one in the USA is Advanced Diagnostics. So that's not entirely true.

I've tried this (with v7.2 loader) and at first i had an issue with CAN protocol, but after some changes between USB ports, everything was fine but not for a long time - the CAN wasn't stable. If you can follow any path, you have a lot of tools available that they can program keys (4/5 Immo) those days, even with all keys lost :) |
