Hi guys

customer ask me, if it is possible to change vin of car. His car was stolen, and after few months it was found somewhere in russia with different vin numbers.

I know how to do it on most units but not sure with DDE and CAS, can I do it same way via winkfp?

Also keys, His old 2 keys can be used to start car, but not for open dors, he has 3.rd - fake key which can open doors - is there same method like it was before on e39, to hold buttons to pair keys?

yes, i have doubt about standard tools, i bet on autohex2, but this is still quite expensive for my use, is there some cheaper tools which can do this?

Read dumps and vin can be changed in those. Check if old keys are disabled. Ista or tool 32 can be used to check
