Hi

I have a 2014 Audi A1 and I am trying to do a spare key on it. i have backed up the eeprom using my lonsdor k518 and also removed the cluster and read the 24c64 ( just to verify I get the same dump).
I now need the immo data to create a dealer key, is there any software I can run the eeprom .bin file through that will give me the correct file to make the dealer key?

When I try to make the dealer key via obd with the k518 using the eeprom backup I just get a 'file not correct' error but the k518 doesn't have a backup immo data option for the A1.

Does anybody know what tool I could use to read the nec flash?

or which tool is best to read immo data on 2014 Audi A1 immo4?

I thought that the Lonsdor would be the right tool for the job but obviously not

Try vvdi 2 ,some flashes are possible to read via obd from cluster
Or use vvdi 2 to add key

At the moment I only have the lonsdor k518. The function is there to make a dealer key for a A1 and I can read the eeprom via obd, when I try to make a dealer key using the eeprom.bin I just get a ‘file not correct’ error message. The lonsdor help file states that it only needs the eeprom backup to generate the dealer key but I think it needs the Immo Data instead. 
If I go into a Q3 I can read eeprom AND Immo Data so I read the Immo Data as a q3 and tried making  a dealer key with this file but it just erases the working key from the system so I had to recover the 24c64 in the cluster directly on the bench.
I am new to key programming and thought the lonsdor might cover most manufacturers but I think I’ll have to invest in a few more tools!

The VVDI 2 is probably a good start. Is there any other tools that have a decent manufacturer coverage that actually work?

Which tool can I manually prepare a transponder using the cs and pincode? Does the cs look correct?
I know on the older immo systems that you needed to find the 7th byte but from what I under stand on this system you have it in 2 sets of 6 bytes?
I’m unsure where I can use this info to prepare the transponder as I don’t think the lonsdor will do it, can VCDS?

Vcds i think can do it with pin code available but need dealer transponder
