change VAS6356 To VAS5054 ODIS 5.0.4
Hello All,
I'm new to the ODIS world, so if I'm asking something stupid please be kind  Today I installed ODIS 5.0.4, but while installing it I had Just VAS6356 driver and my device is VAS5054.
will my VAS5054 work fine with ODIS ??
in the Odis option I Have the VAS6356 as shown in the pic :

I'm using windows 10 . what if I change the windows 10 to windows 7, will solve the problem?? will I get the VAS5054. I download the ODIS from this post : https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=42605 Thank you.

Odis will only work with windows 7 they is a video on youtube on how to configure vas 5054a

Bluetooth VAS5054A only works with window 7 |

ODIS works also on windows 10 but the issue is VAS5054 does not work with windows 10 only 7
try to ran the program through windows 7 comparability or you might need a new VAS works for windows 10 but make sure you do not get fake one Or you can install windows 7 Please click thanks or add reputations if you found it useful |

You have to Install Windows 7.... Tried many ways to Crack the Installer to show the 5054a, but indeed there was a Java package checking for Windows 10 and then disabling VAS5054A but then i can not repackage it.
Other possibility Install on Windows 7 Virtualbox/VMware - and then copy Folder : Program Files/ Softing, I+ME Actia and ODIS Service Folder to Windows10 Program Files, Plug 5054 and go to Device Manager - as Driver dir choose Softing Folder and i'm shure it will run under win10 If my answer helped to fix anything, then don't forget to give me some rep please!

if you run installer, the OS will be checked if win10, then java will only optimize the installer for win10, and they not support vas5054a on win10
theoretically, otherwise it would work under WIN10 if you let the odis installer extract properly then it will work on WIN10 for that you need IT know how
