ISTA+ help
So, I got this to work earlier this year, but I re-installed windows so I lost my configs.
anyways, the issue I'm having is that ista cannot find my car, even though when I use the same cable with my phone and deep obd, It finds it immediatly. I followed all the install instructions, downloaded mikes tools, did the fixes, redists, drivers, all the good stuff. changed ediabas.ini to make sure interface = STD:OBD and obd.ini is set to com9, which is what I have my cable set too. I changed both ediabas files (c:/ediabas and C:/rheingold/ediabas) too and im honestly all out of ideas now. any help would be appreciated! thanks. |

RE: ISTA+ help
hey guys, I got it figured out somehow. i was using a usb extender and when I took that off, it worked fine. either that or because im on a dell, certain stock drivers mess with the usb ports. only one will work on my laptop.
