faster way is to download and unpack standalone version.
harder way is collect all deltas or full istapackage files between your and desired version and run IstaLauncherConsole to update sdp, blp and sqlite . then download rheingols pack from standalone thread and unpack it through old one , update registry to match application version, the rest is already updated with launcher console. when launcher console fire an error, check log file and correct indicated , probably missing files
