Need universal OBD2 odometer correction Tool, what to buy ?
Hello there and merry Christmas first,
I am new to this section here, i am searching for start a Full OBD2 solution for odometer correction, what would you buy? I found some devices: - OBDSTAR X300M - OBDPROG MT401 Which one is better? Any experience with These devices? Are there maybe more OBD2 solutions? Thanks and greetings |

these are cheap china tools with bad support. enigma is probably the best on the long run

I Need cheap tool for Start. I know it will Not make all Cars, But for Start its okay to me. Are the tools i listed really so bad? What is the worst case with these tools? They can damage something in Car or only not Working and all fine? I only dont want to brick something in car...

I think it will not make much difference if you buy obdstar x300 or obdprog mt401 because you have to buy much more tools in future and much more expensive tools for this work

Than i think i wont buy any tool. i didnt need it often and also only for older cars like golf 5 and so on, no need for newer cars. its too expensive for just a few times working with it. thanks

And if it damage the dash for example on VAG you will have problems with immo and keys too and each fail will cost you much time and most time money too. You will need good programmer too to fix dashes if anything happens. Just my opinion - buy some tools just for 1 brand and good programmer to start to work or better play at beginning |
