VIRTUAL READ: EU Kess v2 5.017 2.47
Happy new year guys.
I read a lot about the virtual read function of Ksuite 2.47. Seems like some of the members here have had suceeded with the EU china clones. Can someone please explain how it is done? And how safe it is? For now i use Ktag all the time for full backup, and then flash with Kess. But would really appreciate the VR function!! Boost Fanatic.

One of the only things that separates the clone from genuine tool atm
The genuine tool is online when connected to vehicle and it connects to the alientech server and downloads the known correct VR file for the vehicle (if there is one) The clone will only be able to download from a clone database, how that database works i dont know and would i trust it? No. |

Thanks for your reply. Since my last post i have researced a little more and found that a patch will enable this feature. I found the patch on another forum and will test it as soon as i get my Kess 2.47 up and running.

I think he means the old thing, nothing new. Only search for kess v2 Virtual read Patch download and you will find solution.

Yes, just like bmwadriatic says.
Byt i am of course happy to share it.  Maybe some others have gained some knowledge with this already? I work mainly on VAG EDC16/17, if it works here i'm all good.  I saw however, that some have gained access to a (Russian??) clone server, which supports only VAG and Toyota at the moment. Maybe somebody can shed a light on how to get in? I would of course be happy to pay for it. |
