Hello everybody.My car is BMW E60 2003y. Here is my pain. Recently retrofit my normal front seats to comfort seats with heating. Add them to FA/VO and code them. Everything was perfect until today. I was traing to code my mirrors to fould and flush the TMFA and TMBF also SBSL and SBSR. Now i have yelow warning light for airbags and red warning for belts. Read faults with ISTA/D : 984C,9857,9B4B and 9B8B. Tried to erase them but no luck. It seems the car looking for head restraint airbags but i have no such airbags in the seats. Can somebody tell me how to disable them? Or what shoud i do?

Ok. Did complete car coding with ISTA/P after adding $165 (ITS head airbag deactivation) to VO.Now have only yellow warnining light for airbags on the dash.

I managed to remove the yellow warning light for airbags.First remove options $456 and $165 from VO, then coded SBSL,SBSR and erase the errors.Yellow light off.Then again added $456 to VO and codded CBFS and CFAS.

I have experienced the same problem with airbag error codes 984C and 9857 - head restraint airbags
As well my car is not equipped with the head restraint so I followed the steps and it worked for me.

1) Remove $456 from VO (CAS and LMA)
2) NCS default profile coding of SBSL and SBSR
3) Error clear
4) Add $456 to VO (CAS and LMA)
5) NCS default profile coding of BFS & FAS

No lights and Comfort seats working
