GS7D36SG EGS ISN reset
Hello guy ,
I found many threads discussing 8HP and 6HP EGS ISN reset , but never managed to find any information about the DCT gearbox in E92 M3 , F10 M5 , F80 M3 and F87 M2 . does anyone knows which tool can reset the ISN of those EGS modules . thanks in advance |

I'm not aware of any tools for this. I would try to swap over the mechatronic unit if possible, or rebuild.
Doesn't look like swapping chips is an option Update: Apparently is IS possible, Bimmerscan in Laguna Hills, California advertises DCT ISN matching. |

upd: nah I cant read  not sure about DCT but imho it should also be possible. Ill try to take a look on it and let you know. Give me a PM then.

I would suggest contacting Bimmerscan, Bryce is a very nice guy. He might be able to help you remotely, or point you in the right direction.

I also tried to contact him as you have suggested but it seems that he only accepts phone calls , I can't find any contact details besides the phone number . |
