BMW AOS Servicehistory
Hello guys, first of all, I wish all of the members a happy, healthy and a great 2019!

I have a question regarding BMW AOS service history. We have a BMW 120i F20 in shop  which went to a local garage where the service has been done to the car prior the manual. I try to reset and write new service values in the system. Online, everything is oke, but in the CBS, I can not see the new service.

The car got a service on 70xxxkm
The last service was at 40xxxkm

When we try to add the 70xxxkm service with day, month, year, it does not show up in de screen, the last service of 40xxxkm is stil lthere, we do not see the 70xxxkm service of today. The service is visible in AOS BMW. When we write new service history, it says succesfull, but it is not visible in de car screen.

Is here anybody on the forum who knows how to do it exactly and what we do wrong here? All service has been done prior to the service manual.

The car sat for 5 minutes, it did not show up, very weird. We did it 2 times, every time it said succesfull but it did not show up in car menu.

RE: BMW AOS Servicehistory
Add it manually via HU service manager. AOS history is irrelevant to what are you doing via ista.

AOS is very relevant to those who service their car with BMW or official independents for warranty and value purposes and who wish to keep service history in the car to pass it on to the next buyer. More and more owners ask their local mechanic about that feature too. And they all want it part of a regular service and they don't want it to be wiped by the next garage.

HU service manager tool is used by amateur workshops or individuals that never go to dealers or workshops and its entries are wiped out when you bring your car back to BMW dealer or independent specialist that use AOS to update service history.

HU service manager makes offline entries, AOS is online, like most tools now and will be more and more.

Exactly, I agree with your message, but for some reason we can not update the service history in car menu. When we read out the car, it works, when we write, it works, look at the attachements, it issucesfully done, sensors are changed to, prior to CBS reset, but we do not see it in the car menu for some reason. If HU service manager will wipe it out, then we can not use it.

I do not understand, why will AOS give us the succesfull mesage then? We did it 4 times. So how can we write this online then so it will be online visible? Now I understand why the display is not updated.
