kess v2 still writing when laptop is off
yesterday i did a med9 for tuning.
everythin was oke so i push write. after 53% of writing my batt died and laptop shuts down... i see on the green led kess is still writing so i did nothing and wait till the green led is off. after 20 mimn ( same as write with laptop on ) the led is off. i disconnect the ignition and turn back on and start the car. car starts and sound normal. i read out for dtc and nothing. i read out flash agian and exact 100% match with my tune file... is it possible that kess back up the write file on the sd? |

That's pretty cool, so it sends all the flash data to some kind of memory buffer in the tool itself.

It seems to me that the procedure looks like this: the record is sector by sector so it does not erase all content at the beginning. During the break, the full file remains. Part of the old one and part of the new one.
