Has anyone ever tried to flash the ASB Software to the ECU for the BMK Engine?

In my A6 4F (2006) I have the BMK 3.0 TDI without DPF (4F0910402L)
and after the update from SW0010 to 0020 it seemes to have less Power.

A friend of mine told me that he just flashed the ASB Software to his BMK...
Is this really a good Idea or is it recommended to get a Stage 1 BMK flashfile?

Be careful, don't flash other engine software except your engine software. Audi just don't clone motors and give them another Engine Identifaction. There is definetly more than that. This is very very cheap tuning, and when it works, you will end up sooner or later with a damaged engine. To save something like 200$ you will risk your whole car engine.

There was a TSB about less power on BMK Engines not reaching highest speed, but there was also a change of the software index letter or number then. When you tell me which software is actual on the ecu, I can check for you if software from Technical Service Bulletin is already flashed

Maybe you only feel less power, or while flashing the driving profiles gone nuts. When you have VCDS, you can go into ECU 46 Comfort Module - 10- Adaptions and try to reset the Key Profiles - so it resets the driving profiles. Go to all 4 Keys, set the adaption channel to 0 on every key, save and remove key. Then wait for bus inactivity (e. g. leave car locked for about 15-30 Minutes alone)

When you want more power, get yourself a good tuning. Already done some bmk's which have up to 305PS measured with Insoric Real Power System.
