RE: Vag can Pro flashing BCM how to do?
It depends with the adaption.
I flashed the diagnose gateway of my car. And it was necessary to made changes to adaption afterwards. But I guess for bcm this shouldn’t be the case

I have flashed audi gateway more than 4 times. No such issue.

Extra info removed.

The other answer flash sgo icon on the previous posted photo (the file could be frf or sgo)

When you look at the PDF VCP you see the cursor point it to PCR2.1 EEP and not to Flasg SGO.

Look at the attachment, so what do i need to use!

Hello,

Normally, on the welcome screen, you can choose whatever components you want to work with. I think "Central Electrics" is not displayed yet. You have to choose "More" and look from there. It's number "9" IIRC.

Did you try?

Once you are in "Central Electric", press connect > flasher > open file > Choose desired "*.frf"file to flash > click "flash ".sgo"

What you see in the pdf's example is just for this specific ECU.

If you feel unsure, let me know, tomorrow morning, i'll go iin my car, plug VCP and do a BCM flash simulation for you and save a few screenshots...  yes

Good luck...

Sébastien.

which ones do have same hardware number 5Q0 919 298 (without suffix). This is the answer.

Second way.
Checking flashdaten disk here is the latest for your SW:
FL_5Q0919298A_0029

If you have firmware lower than 0029 then this would be the best and quickest way to update. You did not disclose the whole VCDs scan so I cannot see what firmware you have.

Hello  hi

Check the attached file, it includes a link to the pictures i took from the process...

Basically: Open VCP > Click "More" > "Confort" > "Central Electric" > "Flasher" > "Open File" > Choose "VAS Firmware" and select your file .frf / .sgo > Press "Flash .sgo" > Wait...

I can't help you further regarding the best version to flash. I think @apoelistas got your back on this matter. Let me know if you have another question, but i guess you'll be fine now...

Good luck..!

Sébastien.

RE: Vag can Pro flashing BCM how to do?
Parking distance control unit has different hardware depending if it has rear and or front and or graphical display support. You should not be in a hurry to flash with any firmware.

The only firmwares (SW) available are:
FL_5Q0919298A_0029
FL_5Q0919298D_0042
FL_5Q0919298K_ 0541 or 0542
FL_5Q0919298L_0132

Go to etka search what are given as replacement part no for your module.

Check if one of those is same as above.
If not no firmware update

If yes check their HW number if same. (Google vcds logs ebay photos ).

Needs research if you are not happy with 0029.

Cannot do the work for you because I dont have etka VW, and searching google and ebay takes time.

Otherwise if you know the control module TPI which gives an SVM and writes the information in question that will be even easier (ERWIN). This is what dealer does.

Hello,

Clone is Version 5.5.1. Genuine is actualy Version 8.x

You are limited with some tasks, but it can be used to flash some cars components. Has some guided functions, but again, limited...

What do you need VCP for?

Cheers...

Sébastien.
