there is no immo inside pump. Keys+ews+ecu paired is condition to start. Are you sure the ''new'' pump is ok? Timing (phase) of pump is ok? 005 mechanical number is ok, that's BMW pump. I'm prety sure that's adequate. What is DTC now in ECU? Perhaps you have air into fuel pipes now..?

my friend, it is difficult to help from distance...but..if there is no DTC...car should be start. Very important is to make fuel pipes free of air. Sometimes, it is easier way to put compressed air into fuel reservoir, and push fuel to the pump (before of that unscrew outgoing pipe on the pump) and wait to see fuel coming out. Than screw outgoing pipe, and push fuel again until see that fuel drain out on all 4 pipes for high pressure...than screw all of them...start the car. Anyway, BMW is not easy to start..it is all about mentioned air into fuel pipes. Timing is very important, also.
At the end, who said that is new vp44 pump is ok? You can check easy with osciloscope PWM impuls on the quantity valve...is it open or not. rgds, cuby |
