Is this Ecu with protection or not? Have one to do, I have Kess 5.xx and Ktag 7.xx both reworked but not sure if Kess will do it. Customer don't want his ecu opened....

you have no problem with this ecu is before 2009 tprot 7 without external flash..so any stable fg,kess v2,mpps tool can handle it obd

yes, before 2009 should be ok, post 06/2009 may need patch with ktag before obd writing
