Hello together,

I have currently a issue on a F10 MY 2010 with HU CHAMP (without Navigation), just Radio/CD/DVD

Car had I-Level from 2011--xx--xx and I´ve update with ISTA to 2021--xx--xx

Nothing specila happend during update but now the display shows at boot of HU the BMW-Logo, and then just black screen but you can hear Radio, or switch with mode button to AUX f.e.

ISTA requests a FSC which I never seen before (look at the attached picture) --> 00710001 BROWSER

Coding checked with esys...it is ok.

Any Idea how to solve this?

Explain how you are loading the FSC?

E-Sys --> Options -->Settings-->FSC Tab-->Certificate Field


Load FSC Code Certificate : C307307_00710001.der

E-Sys --> Comfort Mode -->FSC -->FSC Field

Load FSC Code: C307307_00710001.fsc
FA Field -->  "Read FA"

Parameter Fields:
Diagnostic Address (hex) = 0x63 and "identify"
after that all other fileds filled in by esys

Selected "Upgrade FSC"

Selected "Check FSC Status", and got "status like in screenshots"


I think this HU is dead.
Before Update there was no "PHONE" menue in Idrive but car still has 633 and Phone is connected via Bluetooth...thats why I updated...

Is it replaced? Have you written the long VIN yet? In FSC extended?

no it is not replaced, it is the stock HU.
regarding VIN: look at attachment, do you mean this?

Champ have lot of issues after update, you were lucky yours came back to life, some never do. ask me how i know.
