I ask because the dash is dead. shows old mileage but does not work backlighting, does not show fuel level ... but the vehicle is running and driving normally

Have you erased eeprom before writing modify file ?

these steps:

1. de solder 080d0wq

2. read with r270, read old mileage
3.erase odometer, show zero
4.change odometer
5. write new mileage
6.solder 080d0wq

solved!

re-solder 080d0wq... because solder was not good and dash is live...when ignition off and turn trip button show new mileage
cas I do with digiprog via bmw e87 cas3
