German Emission test?
Did anyone have problems with the current German emissions test, after remapping stage1 diesel or gasoline cars?  What must be considered, at Audi with software update, after cheating software?

RE: German Emission test?
I've been looking for something.:

"From now on, the CVN code for all BMW, Porsche, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen models, which are equipped with the Bosch EDC17 and MED17 ECUs, is calculated automatically for each software optimization. The Alientech programming tools calculate this automatically before each CVN is an abbreviation for "calibration number confirmation", so to speak, the CVN code is the checksum of the calibration inside the ECU This CV number has changed so far after each chip tuning but this was not relevant for anyone, but if this number is not correct, the control unit recently issued an error at TÜV inspection or manufacturer service.
By comparing the CV number, you can check whether the calibration of the tuning software in the engine control unit, in accordance with the original of the manufacturer. With a professional map optimization, the adjustment of the CVN should therefore no longer be a problem as of today. "

Does anyone in Germany really have a problem with the latest (2019) emission test ??
What about DPF off?
What about EGR off?
What about the tailpipe measurement?
Everything OK??

RE: German Emission test?
"...all cars have again had to undergo a special exhaust emission test during the main inspection (HU), the so-called tailpipe measurement. The exhaust gas opacity is checked with a measuring probe in the exhaust pipe..."

Hello,
cars over euro 5 haven't had to do the probe test anymore, only the ODB status has been read, if this is OK, the exhaust emission test is passed. Due to the high manipulation of the software and hardware at the car, and this already before the "Diesel Gate scandal", the German testing organizations urged to carry out the test again with a probe, as it was with all cars before Euro 5.

If people know their vehicule's been modified. They usually don't go to the big test organizations like TüV or Dekra. They go to smaller independent testing organizations, or workshop of the trust, to do the exhaust inspection there. Then it usually works out with the exhaust emission test biggrin.

RE: German Emission test?
Statement of a test engineer, readiness codes are read, and diesels, the turbidity is measured how much soot in the exhaust gas.  In Audi / VW also the cvn is read via obd and compared with the default.  When tuning so the cvn must be back to original, then the test should be passed.  With the petrol engine, the lambda control is measured with an exhaust probe.
In my opinion, the DPF should stay in it and the EGR may be off.  If the CVN fits, no problem should arise.
