I think normal Windowsupdates are not the problem with the license. My Windows 11 is updated once per month and ISTA is still working. It would not be a good idea to prevent windows from beeing updated because of security leaks. Like sedoy wrote in his Licenserequestthread a Windows UPGRADE will break the ISTA license and i think that is the problem from some users. Anyway ... when sedoy is back he could bring some light in here.

Then i don't know what to say...maybe be people upgrade they ISTA each two-three months and didn't got issue as i got.
Because my Windows install required updates itself. Now i disabled all,will see next what's happens.
Now i'm completely stuck,and waiting once Sedoy back to activate my license....

I don’t have any issues with windows features and security updated.

An upgrade differs from an update in that it moves your PC from a previous version of Windows, such as Windows 10 to Windows 11, also BIOS included. This will deactivated the ISTA license.

An update ensures you have the most recent features and security improvements for your current version of Windows. This will not affect the ISTA license.

Normally you need new license...

why? I got my licenses on Nov. 2021. One on W10, one on W11. All updates has been done, no request for new licenses until now...

Stop windows-updates is not a good idea, i think...

One more thing - I’m running Win10 on both Apple Pc’s, with Bootcamp.
Maybe that’s why i getting this license, otherwise all is the same as other people.

Now on one PC I turned off all updates, and waiting once Sedoy back to get new license, and then will see how it goes.
Otherwise no any more ideas…

Ah .. you are on Apple hardware. Did you update or upgrade your macos ?
Because then the chance is high that you got firmware updates from Apple on your hardware and then its a new device for windows too and would explain the license problem.

Yes of course! That’s why I mentioned one and last thing what can be… If people says who update they Windows and didn’t get missed license (as me), so one last thing is only Apple with Bootcamp…

... or you can use the last version of ISTA that don't need a license given by sedoy. That would be V4.32.1x (also avaiable from the downloadsite).
