BMW E70 paddles steering wheel coding
Hello! Can somebody tell how to code bmw e70 x5 paddles steering wheel with ncs expert? Steering wheel paddles wiring was already fitted from factory in this car. Need onliy coding. Thanks!

Look in NCS Expert, GKE11 coding, 2 possible transmission types, one has coding trace GKE11K.CO8 and the other is GKE11T.CO5
GKE11T.CO5 has the coding keyword PADDLES Options are wert_00 - Switch based with steptronic wert_01 - Resistance based without steptronic wert_02 - Resistance based with steptronic Early steering wheels had 2 normal microswitches for up and down shifts, later steering wheels used a different resistance on the wires for an upshift and a downshift. |

Yes, I thin the wiring might have been the spare connections which could be used for a heated steering wheel. Some of the SZLs have a spare 2 pin connector.

You have to reroute 2 wires to ECU box in engine bay at right side, and connect there to egs.

I have delited $255 (sport wheel without paddles) from FA/VO. Then i added $2XA (sport wheel with paddles). Then VO coded CAS, FRM, EGS, GWS, EHB3, JBBF, VCSG and KOMBI. Then updated EGS to latest soft. But paddles wount work. Strange that this 2 wires is allready wired from factory (steering wheel connector from car side is fully wired, no emty pins. I have tryed change paddles values in egs to but paddles wount work. What i`m missing? Is there a way to make they work?

Again. None E70 had paddles prewired from factory.
