Good morning I tried to connect to the CIC both with ethernet adapter and cable eobd2 but without success my car is X1 E84 vin: VZ25368 if anyone could help me to extract the file 1b I would be grateful thanks for your patience.

E-Series use KDCAN cable not ENET

You can use ENET cable also on E series, but you have to edit IP and DNS settings for your ethernet. When you have connection with the car than you can download generalPersistencyData_DiagnosticSWTController file from the car and create 1b.hex file which is needed for generating fsc code. You can find instructions somewhere on this forum. I did many times on E series. But it's easier as you can use simple USB script which creates 1b.hex file automatically. Just google for "copie_scr.sh" script and you'll fond your way.

hello I had already tried the file copie_scr.sh but on my car it did not work .. I will try to look for other ways thanks for the answers
