ISTA-P can't access USB with activation code
Hello,
I am using ISTA-P with the Launcher. All works OK. Recently, I wanted to upgrade a car spec using official BMW software package for that car. BMW sent me activation code/files which I downloaded onto USB stick. This code is necessary to proceed with the updating process. But my ISTA-p is not recognizing the USB stick with the code file. Windows 10 can see the USB device OK. I remember, some time ago I could do it with my old ISTA-P version. Now, I can’t  . Any ideas, please. Is there any configuration or settings within ISTA to make this function available? I am hoping, that some ISTA experts here will have help me out  .

2 questions ,
What is the name of your drive ? Name it something like 32GBUSB no Special characters No spaces What is The FULL Name of file On the drive ? is it a .xml file extension?? The only way to Import a vehicle order File Is to name it your 7 digit Vin number Followed by .xml at least as of ISTA-P 3.66.0.200 .. LMK |
