Hello all, I have the not sure how it's called MHIG MIB1 navigation that comes with SIMcard and 2 SD slot.

Normally the system got updated from myaudi.com with a limit of 5 times every 6 month.

I understand that my car being 2014, myaudi.com propose me the latest version of 2016/17.

Now I've found a seller that sent me the map update for 2018/19 claiming these are the latest update.

Unfortunatly I filled the sd card with the folders but the MMI doesn't find the update whereas if i put the file from myaudi.com related to 2016 maps it works.

I fear there's something related to activation.

do you guys have any clue about that?

In Germany, the MIB only has an update license for 3 years. Then you have to buy a new activation document to unlock the new Naviupdates.

Seller sold you "nothing", as you car free maps updating expired, and you need now activation for it, can be solved without "activation document" and visiting dealer.
