NCS Expert - 93AE and 93AF Errors
Hi,
My car is a 2008 (E92) BMW (330i). I recently reversed my car into wall and only incurred slight damage. Ever since then every time I start my car I get "restraint system faulty.....". When I took car to garage they read two error codes (93AE and 93AF). This seems to relate to both of my front headrest airbags going off. I believe I can program my car to "forget" about the front headrests. I want to keep them in this state as they are more supportive and it will cost a load of money to get them replaced. I have successfully loaded NCS Expert onto my laptop and can communicate with the car, download FSW_PSW file, etc. Which ECU should I be looking at programming to make the headrests "not active"? I have grabbed the "ABG" ECU settings but cannot see any reference to the headrest airbags. |

Someone suggested it was in the ABG module AKS_LINKS_1_CD aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is the left side active head restraint.) AKS_RECHTS_1_CD aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is the right side active head restraint.) |
