Is the new version of the Maps Next 2019-2 still having the problem with satellite zoom ??
Can someone confirm this ?.

I can confirm now that the zoom problems are completly fixed with this new version of the Next 2019-2 maps.

After extraction, I investigated the difference between the two Road Map EUROPE West Next 2019-2 versions:

The earlier one is 23.8 GB (25,627,472,550 bytes) — 29 files, 19 folders

The new one is 26.4 GB (28,454,084,695 bytes) — 30 files, 19 folders

If you look into the root folder, the earlier one contains

config.nfm
NBT_ECE_401183.3.111.pkg
NBT_ECE_401183.3.111.pkg.sig

but the new one contains

config.nfm
NBT_ECE_401183.3.115.pkg
NBT_ECE_401183.3.115.pkg.sig

Notice the 111 to 115 change.

And finally, if you analyze the Info_Map.imp files located at

1\INFO_MAP_ECE_401183_3_111\Info_Map.imp

vs

1\INFO_MAP_ECE_401183_3_115\Info_Map.imp

here are the results:

A1 00 00 14 B9 FF 05 C5 00 A9 00 3E 00 00 5F 78 05

Two bytes are different at index 14 and 15 (5F 78 → 6A 00)

while both maps contain the same identifier string Road Map EUROPE West Next 2019-2 and the 7 bytes at index 1-7 (marked green) indicate the same

00 00 14 B9 = 14B9 = traditionally EUROPE Next, and from now on EUROPE West Next
FF = 255 = Main Version
05 = 005 = Sub Version
C5 = 197 = Patch Version


There should be another map ID reserved for EUROPE East Next which I'm gonna mention here once I find out.

Now, the Patch Version (197) is one id more than (196) a possibly combined East+West 2019-2 mentioned in the Lookup.xml that hasn't been released:

I think I have a bad Lookup.xml, it is 660 KB, downloaded from CT thread id = 41713 & post = 7

In my bad Lookup.xml, NAVD_000014B9_255_005_196 = "Road Map EUROPE Next 2019-2", as you can see, no EAST mentioned, hence my wrong assumption about a possible combined version that never released...

So I'll edit my post and strike its wrong assumptions out.
