That notice is simply telling you that the dampers should be replaced as a pair if they have more than 50,000km. If you have a problem that requires changing out a damper, it's asking you to change both. It's like changing a broken strut, you should replace at least the pair of them if they have high mileage on them. You don't want one brand new strut next to a heavily worn one.
I'm almost certain that there's no odometer function preventing you from replacing just one.

Out of curiousity, was this vehicle in an accident? I'm chasing a missing satellite damper code on a wrecked F02 at the moment.

It's not telling you that it needs to be changed based on mileage alone. It doesn't track mileage and command a replacement at 50,000km. It's saying that if you need to replace one, do the pair if they have more than 50,000km.
What code are you seeing? Have you checked all the wires for continuity? Are all Flexray modules present and functioning?

D66D61 : EDCSHL interface (damper satellite, rear left , 1.o.1 ) signal invalid
481342  : EDCSHL internal control-unit  fault

those are the code for it and i didn't check the wire because with istad it's saying the unit is fine and but i will eventually

I would try programming and encoding that damper, you might get lucky. That second code isn't looking good though.

Check wiring first, much more often there is the problem, not the shock absorber
