Hello there,
i have a problem on an E60 525d 177hp. The DDE is faulty (internal error), but car starts and driving, only some problems when is longer standing. I bought used DDE from internet with same Bosch number and same BMW number. I read the new used DDE with KTAG in all modes (complete backup, only EEPROM, only MICRO and only EXTFLASH/MAPS ). Reading and saving the files without problem. Than i was read the faulty original ECU with these results: complete backup read gives me a cheksum error at the end of the reading, only EEPROM reading and saving without problems, only MICRO reading also without problems reading/saving, reading of EXTFLASH/MAPS again reading with cheksum error at the end of reading, so think there should be my problem with the car. Now to my main question, how can i do my new used ECU get working with my car? Someone can extract ISN from faulty original ECU read and put it into new ECU files ? Will the car start? I hope someone can help please. In attachments are all readings, of original faulty ECU and new used one.
