XZBMW  BMW E38 740i M5.2 Bosch ISN Problem
Hello,

i have a problem with a Bosch M5.2 on the E38 740i

I need the ISN Number to match another EWS for this car...

The original EWS is broken and doesn´t gives me the ISN sad

Anyone knows how to full read the DME? to find ISN Number or to IMMO off?

VIN From the Engine: DK68778

Hi,

Read the amd flash Chip and the eeprom with a programmer.

or just solder the chip to a new ecu.

Your VIN says it is M5.2.1 dme, which I think it may be possible to read with boot mode in addition to desolder and programmer.

Then post full flash and I can virginize it for you. Then you run DME-EWS sync.

Take a picture of dme, inside of memory chip too.

I will be waiting for it. It was at least 1.5 years since I did one of those, and I can't find my own pictures. I have done every DME since 1994 to 2015 models, but these M5.2.1 were used for very short period.

Today after work i will look for some good pictures.

Do you think the EWS Emulator can fix this job to find out the ISN?
