edc17cp09 ad blue off
Hello everyone I own a 2010 bmw x5 35d diesel. This vehicle had some water damage due to me leaving the dde cover off . So i sourced a used dde from a junk yard and self taught myself with alot of help from google which lead me to this awesome forum. I purchased a fg tech v54 and managed to do a full read of the water damaged dde. I tried to do a full write but was prompted about a possible checksum issue which I kind of understand but havent fully figured out yet. So I skipped the internal micro and external micro flash and just did the eeprom which didnt have a checksum prompt. Turns out the immo was in there and i have succesfully wrote the original immo info onto the used dde. My vehicle now runs! super proud of myself and thanks for all the great info ive found around this forum. I havent been able to offer and help to anyone yet but i dont plan to stop with just this dde read and write and hope i can be of help to someone eventually. My only issue now is my wife crashed the x5 and took out the ad blue tank and electronics so i have been trying to find a "damos" file i think it is called that i can open in ecm titanium with my tune so i can try to figure out turning off ad blue and maybe more of the emissions in the future. Does anyone have a damos file or can point me in the direction of where to get one or offer any help? Also I work at a nissan dealership in canada and have alot of resources in the shop if anyone needs any help
