Hi,

Got E70 from 2009 with messed up CAS eeprom. I think someone was trying to lower mileage, but cleared DME/EGS ISNs insted.

Abrites downgraded CAS to ISTA-P < 45+, DME ISN is present and car start after making DME-CAS synchro, but when i try to read ISN from EGS and write it to CAS eeprom (Abrites show that everything is flawless and Done), Car do not start and EWS Interface CAS error comes up. Can not synchronise DME-CAS.

From the knowladge i have EGS ISN in EEPROM is 2Bytes, but Abrites read 4Bytes (and also abrites gave me 2 sets of 4Bytes ISNs), i was trying to set manually (portions 2Bytes by 2Bytes) all bytes but EGS is still LOCKED and can not drive.

can somone help me with this thing?


On first picture CAS EGS/DME isn is FF FF CE 64 and can make synchro, car starts. I know that first 2bytes are ISN of EGS but how to put 4 Bytes ISN into 2 Byte "place holder".

Use AVDI automatically method to sync EGS<>CAS.
Also follow instructions from AVDI to the letter - when prompted to turn ign off or remove battery.
AVDI never failed me to sync EGS on any E70

Yes, prompted twice for remove battery, did it but still not working.

Use BMW Explorer or x17 to clear the burglar.

You can use BMW Explorer and x17 to make IsN clear. Many devices can do it.

Keep reading AVDI manual it should do the job, I see you are using online BMW2 , I had the same issue
like you and I used older AVDI BMW and it has done the job without problems.
