does any one know how to connect hutool3 to a remote nbt unit

i can get esys working remotely but cant seem to connect to the remote nbt with either vpn ip or zgw ip address of other car tried putting both ip addresses in ssh client still no connection

Make sure firewall/windows defender is OFF on the remote computer
Make sure you can ping the remote NBT from your PC.

i did turn firewall off on the remote test pc and tried to ping the nbt will test again with windows defender disabled to see if i can ping it

I read HU BIS instructions, not very clear and not a step by step how to connect, but I would imagine it is same idea as general E-SYS coding via VPN document I wrote

For instance, did you create the NAT rule on the remote windows computer?
netsh int portproxy add v4tov4 listenport=6801 connectport=6801 connectaddress=169.254.33.116

Yes they not clear i worked out how to activate carplay on 2018-11 system but couldnt work out how to do it remotely

i did do the above in cmd with admin permissions

esys worked fine was hutool that wasnt connecting il test this today again with defender being set to off

which ip address if that you put above as i normally either put the vpn ip address or zgw ip address

Ok but did you configure EDIABAS.INI as REMOTE with ZGW IP Address?

ok i tested again with windows defender disabled

same result i can connect to esys via vin of vpn not zgw

i can ping vpn ip but not zgw ip

with ip of vpn in cmd box and esys i can fully code and read headunit whether i set ediabas to enet or remote

any other idea

have you managed to use this function yet
