BKD Remap: 373,4nm Torque Limit??!
Hey all, 

so i have been working on a file for the 2.0 BKD for some time, and I'm getting quite satisfied with it now. However: i have been running a lot of logs, and i am having some torque limit at 373,4 nm. Can anyone have a look in my file and see what's wrong?! I have also attached the VCDS multi-log. 

I have raised and recalibrated all diagnostic limits for boost (Max 2800 mbar now) IQ (Max 85 mg/st now) and Torque (Max 520 NM now).  enjoy

The Gearbox (DSG) is not limiting i suppose, since i have raised that torque limiter to 500 nm. 

Know the boost is still having some spikes, still dialing the N75 map in.. But almost there!  drive


Any help would me much appreciated! Been looking for hours now and can't find it.

You missed Maps and your Changes are not right.
Maybe you have to read some Tutorials again or better.

In your log smoke map is limiting you...you are not achieving 1200maf and not getting full iq...

also post file with raised DSG limiter

I have read virtually every guide there’s to read about EDC15+16. And no, I only make edc15 files for others, for the obvious reason; I’m not yet confident in EDC16.
Well, so what exactly is wrong with the boost map? I have really done it as good as I can:
Convert the boost to MAF -> Convert MAF to stoic -> Set new max IQ -> Interpolate x axis from old boost map to have the same gradient in the new map -> convert stoic to MAF -> convert MAF to boost

And there you have my new boost map. Like I said, please tell what’s wrong then.
Generally your whole post is all about how bad I am, and not one word about whats actually bad, and what I could do.
If you’re only here to moan about me then, I don’t see the point in wasting both your and my time on it.
For sake of good order I attached a picture of my excel sheet.

Thanks for your helpful reply, and welcome to this forum. We are fortunate to have you here sir. I have indeed missed DDEA6A. As far as I can see from another damos I have, this one is a torque limiter for when pre-injection is not active. Think this one is definitely one solution to the problem.

Regarding the smoke limit: I have been trying to figure out where the missing link is here. Looking in the file the switch for smoke limit on airmass or boost I have set to airmass. Also smoke limiter switch for mass or lambda I have set to mass. I then understand it to be the smoke limiter by MAF that is the used smoke limiter. And that one is granting 70 mg @ 1200 mg air. Only explanation I have then, is that the MAF is not reading 1200 mg, but looking at the log that one peaks @ 1275 mg/st @ 2247 rpm. But from there it never reaces that high again. Could it be the MAF sensor then?

cant really tell you if ur sensor is good because your logs are bad...make better logs
