have you tested file?

if such expert why buy files from them and not make yourself

Hi 8baller, I'm not an expert and never said I was, I only have a little experience with EDC16 I don't tune myself. I'm not sure why you are calling me an expert? I don't have the time to learn to make map changes sadly that's why I asked for help for somebody to check the tune for me as this was for a friend and said he can't feel any difference

I can see your a reputable member here and that seems to give you the authority to belittle me?

I'm far from an expert, just needed some help

Thanks

im far from belittling you

you made comments in your first post that imposes you have analyzed the file from a tuners point of view, correct me if im wrong are you not trying to belittle whoevers tuning this by posting it on a forum claiming that there are 'missed' limiters etc?

have you not tried to resolve this issue with the company that supplied the file?

you see many 'missed' limiters, if you dont know how to tune this why do these need to be edited?

you could have started this thread by stating that you 'bought' a file from a 'reputable company' but felt 'no difference'. instead of giving your godly opinion which is unfair, the way you word a thread can be decisive what response you get

I have a high power stage1+ tune for this exact sw version, and yes it touches more maps, but there are certainly enough changes in the mod file attached to notice a difference, even if most of them are % or block changes (+26% or +200 for example)

has your friend that felt no difference had the car regularly serviced? checked for mechanical issues?

I simply not belive this tuning is made by any  big company or maybe script work (without check) with mesed up purposions..but like 8baller sayed if you test the car you alredy now the quality of tuning  secret

RE: Rate this tune 120d stage 1
The company does use an automated system to turn files over maybe that was the problem, the car has had an engine replacement and fully maintained recently had a new turbo, clutch and full service.

I will write my threads more carefully next time

Thanks

RE: Rate this tune 120d stage 1
big company = non personal service

automated services imo can never be good

maybe worth trying to get your money back and buying a tested file from a smaller company

Should of uploaded the file to CT, 2 people did a stage 1 for me one of which was rs@chip and the difference was instantly noticeable and also no charge although they deserve it.
