XPROG - IAW 6LPC.105 help...
Hi, any one ran into this before?
Have been trying to read a ST10F280 from a Marelli IAW 6LPC.105 with no luck using xprog 5.55 clone. My main laptop I use for this sort of stuff is windows 7 64 bit and I always get "device is silent" when trying to read, I installed xprog on a xp virtual machine on the same laptop and its the same story "device is silent". So I get my main laptop running windows 10, I know this throws the auth error on W10, So another installation of virtual box and xp sp3 and I don't get "device silent" error but this one. I'm using a 12v 3amp power supply similar to a laptop. Checked my connections multiple times. swapped usb leads. Could it be I just have a bad clone? This is the diagram I followed. |

All setup correct, drives, com port ect, the “device silent” only happens on my win 7 laptop, have used xprog for EPROMs before and it worked great.

Think it's time to give up, Tried all night and still "incorrect device ID", does the ecu need external power or just xprog?.

RE: XPROG - IAW 6LPC.105 help...
First mcu I have tried reading, I tried st10 flasher and with kline and vag lead but I get a monitor error, I wen't to try mpps but not sure where po.5 is located to put to ground.
I heard good things about orange5 clone? so may order one of those and a ktag, is your ktag a clone? Any more info on the fix, flash a different version or reflash 5.55? |
