A3 8P cluster swap
Hello everyone,
New to this so don't hate me for the noob question.
I want to swap my A3 cluster from a 8P0 920 930 F to a 8P0 920 931.
Is it enough to read the 24c32 and chips and swap or do I need anything else ?
What would be the most affordable tool to do it via obd ?

no way to exchange eeprom ..... there is a substitution procedure with VCDS, VAS ........

As far as I know vcds will only work for a virgin cluster not for used clusters?

8P0 920 930 F is fujitsu with 93C86
8P0 920 931 is micronas with 24c32
first one you have to do r/w by OBD
second one you have to r/w by external programmer
