Hey Guys,

Am having a problem - i have managed to code many times VW's, Audi's etc. using Odis in order to convert FM and AM frequency from Japan to Europe with no problem at all, but now am having problem with an Audi A1 since i don't have the option to change the coding from binary to text (in other vehicles i had this option through ODIS). 

For most of the vehicles i had the option to change it through Information Control Unit but on this Audi A1 it might be also from the Radio (56).

The Audi A1 that am currently working has only the binary option - anyone knows what i should change (i have attached some images) in order to change the frequency from Japan to Europe? I hope someone knows the way to do it.

I don't know how to do it but I am 99.9% convinced that this won't be possible via coding. It will require paramaterization instead if at all doable.

Thank you for your reply. My question is how is it possible i have done it on other Volkswagen and Audi's? I can attach images from other models if you want.

The systems now are getting much more complicated. Genuine VAG Can Pro will be the only thing that can do this I think.

Thank you but in the radio unit (address 56) there are only 8 Bytes.

Are you sure it is the Byte 9?

If it is system MMi 3G japan tuner after coding to EU not working good. Better change to UE tuner and active CP.
