Vin change
Hello guys...
Swapped ecu, ews and key from bmw e46 to another one... Car starts... But i wanna know if it is possible to change the vin in ecu, ews and key is possible to match cars original one? Thanks |

You can't change vin in EWS with standard tools.
You need to read MCU with bench programmer and edit VIN manually. If you want, upload EWS file here and I will correct it for you. You can do the same with Engine ecu. What type of Ecu has this E46 ? Gasoline or diesel ? Bests |

IDK if possible but you can try to reflash with WinKFP and provide new VIN, otherwise via BDM as suggested by paskuale

u sure bmw scanner change vin in ews? even if so... you have to programm new ews chip. Its not visible anywhere but vin is also in key. When somebody reads it...
