Hi.
I have a problem with Passat B7 2.0TDI engine CFGB 2011'
Car suddenly won't start. I connect VCDS and Gateway scan shows that only engine is unavailable to connet.

I have checked connections: CAN, GND, power suply.
When I reconnect battery engine will start for 2seconds and stops (normal immo is blocking) is seems that there is no comunication engine - dashboard because when engine starts RPM meter isn't working.

I have make clone and changed GATWAY and ECU to another and there is still no response from ECU.

Now automatic scan shows that egine ABS gearbox and EPS is unavailable but when i try to coneect manyaly only engine is silent - no connection.

Any ideas???

Hello test the can wiring from socket to socket that connect to ecu immo dash etc   sounds like a break in can wiring but can't be sure without testing.

CAN from ECU is OK. I have tested that at first time. Connections are together with gearbox ABS and EPS - god shape and electrical with no damages.

Ok have you tested from dash and immo to ecu ? if the wiring ok then must be faulty unit somewhere did you code new ecu with other units ? as would cause non start immo issue
