XZBMW  SOS Error after Combox retrofit
Hello guys,

My Car: 2011 320d. I have factory fitted iDrive Professional.

I bought a used Combox. (BN2000)

I bought microphone, cables, sockets and retrofitted Combox.
But i don't have SOS Emergency Call system. I don't want this system anyway.

All codings completed. I added my VO this;

$614, $615, $644; $6AL; $6FL; $6NF; $6NR; $6VC; $7SP;

and i completed FA_WRITTEN jobs in CAS & NFRM.

Bluetooth is working, Bluetooth media streaming is working, USB Audio is working.

But my car shows SOS Emergency Call System failed.

I tried disable this features in KOMBI module;

Code:
TCM_ALIVE_MONITOR -> nicht_aktiv
TCM_ID_MONITOR -> nicht_aktiv

COMBOX_ALIVE_MONITOR -> nicht_aktiv
COMBOX_ID_MONITOR -> nicht_aktiv

error did not disappear.

I tried disconnect all cables in COMBOX (except MOST) and remove $644 $7SP.
And Code CIC & MEDIA but the error did not disappear.

What should I do to make the error disappear?

Thank you in advance for your help.

RE: SOS Error after Combox retrofit
First of all, which combox did you buy? media or telematic? If you bought telematic did you make power to pin 1 and 2 or just 2? if 1 and 2, remove pin 1 power.

Whats your VIN so i can lookup your original FA:

RE: SOS Error after Combox retrofit
It doesn’t matter. If pin 1 AND 2 has power it will give fault anyway. Only put power on pin 2.

RE: SOS Error after Combox retrofit
the fault comes from the KOMBI (and possibly ABG module) which is still coded for telematics.
