XZBMW  ISTA+ version for G12 with ICOM Next
Hi to everyone!

First post in this forum. Posting from Spain & looking for some straight-forward help if possible

I own an M760Li G12 MY 2018, also have ICOM Next original.

Want to diagnose, upgrade firmware, etc. on my vehicle which was last updated at the dealer on Nov '18

Looking for some help in pointing me to the correct ISTA+ version with the latest SDP files for my vehicle G12 for diagnosing, programming & updating. At the same time I would like to avoid installing any unnecessary software, older versions for other chassis which are useless for my car.

Thanks

ISTA+ Will need fully installation with full SDP and BLP to function Well. It will report broken installation if not.
Latest is 4.16.10, and is available from spider80.

RE: ISTA+ version for G12 with ICOM Next
Thanks for your replies Fatalix & inspi1981!! Checked both your indications

I'm inclined to install the very latest version

jonny81 version 4.16.22

spider80 version 4.16.13

I've gone through many threads and I'm a little confused with all the different versions, full install, lite, standalone, litesql, fullsql, loader V6.x, dll_fixed, VINCHECK_fix, etc...

Is there a full latest version of ISTA+ with all DB & with a hassle free installation?

Using for above Thinkpad P52 Win1064bit & ICOM Next

Thanks

@arturo_spain

you need power supply to programming your G12. its better for you if you download the version from spider80 and read faq to get it started, after you can update it with version from jonny81.

to update G12 you need full install, full istall = fullsql.
you don't need loader, its only for Exx serie.

Install version is for Ista Launcher, and you need the 4.16.2x / SDP 4.16.2x / BLP 4.16.2x full version. Standalone is only for the diagnose part og ISTA+

hello again !

please look for spider80's thread, download it, read faq and thats all. i think it will hard to explain you, how to install ista with launcher, so best way for you its spider80.

just again: if you download spider80 ista and read FAQ you can programming your car. everything else is only if you know what to do and you really use it.

ISTA-D 4.16.14 Standalone  https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=47458

ISTA-D 4.16.22 Standalone  https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=47789
